The Boothbay Harbor Board of Appeals will meet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25 in the town office meeting room. Department of Marine Resources is requesting a variance to allow construction of housing for up to eight seasonal employees. DMR’s initial application was denied by the code enforcement officer who interprets the use as a boarding house which is not allowed.

The board will also consider an appeal from Sewall Maddocks Jr. regarding a code enforcement decision related to dimensional requirements.
