The Boothbay Region Art Foundation is happy to welcome artist and educator, Shug Yagel, to our town. She comes to our area with a long list of achievements in the art field. We at the gallery are pleased to know that she would like to work with people in our area throughout the summer.

The first opportunity serious beginners and intermediate students will have to work with this professional will be on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. At that time, Yagel will begin her six-week Introduction to Drawing class. These sessions will give attention to under drawing for representational painting. This course consists of informal lectures, demonstration and easel/table side consultation.
