Yarmouth’s high-powered offense rolled up 50 points Friday night in defeating Boothbay, 50-20, in Campbell Conference football action at Sherman Field. Yarmouth began the season 1-3, but in successive victories scored 64 versus Mount Ararat and 50 against Boothbay to even its record at 3-3. 

Boothbay is also 3-3 after the loss. The Seahawks crushed Sacopee Valley 36-0 last week in a game where everything went right, but against big school conference foe Yarmouth, seemingly nothing did. Yarmouth posted a 24-0 lead early in the second quarter, and Boothbay struggled to stop its opponents’ high-powered rushing attack all game. 

This was Boothbay’s last regular season home game. Next week, the Seahawks travel to Kittery to Traip Academy.
