The Waynflete Flyers boys tennis team (11-2) defeated Boothbay Region, 4-1, in the semifinal round of the South C tournament at BRHS on Saturday, June 4.
The Flyers were ranked fourth and Boothbay was ranked first in the tournament.
Boothbay finished the season with an 11-2 record. The Seahawks’ first singles player, senior Nick Gorey, won the only match for Boothbay. He finished a stellar career at BRHS as he was undefeated during the regular season and playoffs.
