Desperation drove the Friends of the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library Board to vote in a special meeting to institute a moratorium on accepting uses history, science, textbooks, cookbooks, and/or children’s books. For the time being, please find some other beneficiary of your generosity. The barn is full, the upstairs storage rooms are full, and the Friends need some enthusiastic, strong helpers to sort, shelve and discard books until the November closing.
