Upcoming town and school meetings
Boothbay Harbor residents will vote on town elections on Friday, May 2 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the Boothbay Harbor Municipal Building. Residents will reconvene on Saturday, May 3 at 9 a.m. at the Municipal Building to vote on the 29-article town warrant which includes a proposed $6,424,935 FY26 budget and several ordinance revisions around housing and business.
Boothbay residents will vote Monday, May 5 on the town meeting referendum ballot between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Residents will vote on the proposed $2.69 million municipal budget, town elections and 37 warrant articles.
The Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Community School District meeting and public hearing for the proposed $11.4 million school budget will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 7 at the Boothbay Region Elementary School Gym. The Budget Validation Referendum is set for Tuesday, June 10 at regular town voting places.
Edgecomb residents will vote on Saturday, May 17. The open school budget meeting will be held at 10 a.m. at the town hall. Residents will decide the $4,158, 653 Fiscal Year 25/26 school budget. The referendum town warrant will be voted on between 1 and 7 p.m. at the town hall.
