The Boothbay Region YMCA, in partnership with local schools, churches, town offices and the Community Navigator, have begun offering Tree of Giving tags. If you wish to purchase a gift(s) for a child in need, gift tags are available now through Monday, Dec. 14 at the Y.

Community members and groups are invited to stop by and choose a tag(s) from the tree, purchase the items, wrap them, and return them with the tags to the Y by Dec. 14. The Y is at 261 Townsend Ave. in Boothbay Harbor.

If you wish to show your support and purchase a gift for a child in need, but have concerns about COVID-19 exposure, you can make a donation over the phone. Call 633-2855 and advise the staff that you would like to help a family in need this season by contributing to the Tree of Giving.
