We started Monday evening with a great fish chowder supper at 6 p.m. It was great to see Henry, Herbie, Jimmy and Steve in attendance. We had about 25 members and guests, not too bad considering the weather. We would always love to see more at our meetings on Mondays at 7 p.m.

Thank you, Tim, Garry, Reid and especially Karen, for your help at this dinner and every other event we hold.

We've started a members' raffle on meeting nights. Your name is placed on a ticket for every meeting you attend and every month we will draw a winning name. So, the more you show up, the better your chances of winning a pretty good prize.

We would like to thank Elaine and Tom Fogarty for their continued food donations to our Lodge meetings.

Tim Sprague and the Murky Water Band will provide the music for the New Year's Eve dance at the hall on December 31, 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Admission is $15 per person or $25 per couple. Snacks will be available.

I would like to thank Bill Roger, Bill Smith and Brian Barter for keeping our parking lot clear of snow and sanded.

We are meeting December 23. Hope to see a good crowd.
