“Aladdin” -  Held Over by Popular Demand! -  A thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic, “Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future. The most surprising part ... isn’t that it’s far better (more fun, more frisky, more coherent) than a string of maligned trailers have let on, it’s that no one ever got the bright idea to rename the whole thing “Genie” and turn all of the film’s attention on Will Smith.

Talking Art in Maine, Intimate Conversations -  Dan Kany and Henry Isaacs  -  The last in this year’s series of one on one conversations between artist, Jane Dahmen, and notable artists and curators who have made a substantial contribution to the arts in the state of Maine. Guests are Dan Kany, art historian, critic, musician and author of “Travel Notes: Paintings by Henry Isaacs”, about his very good friend, and also our Guest Artist, Henry Isaacs. The book explores Isaac's process, techniques, inspiration and greatest influences. Thursday May 30 at 7 p.m.  Free event.

“Lift Off!” -  Y-Arts presents the premiere of a new musical by Maine composer, Joel Biron. Join us as we take flight at the Lincoln Theater, traveling back in time to meet and learn from Leonardo Da Vinci, Amelia Earhart, and the Wright Brothers. The combined cast of youth from the Boothbay YMCA and the Central Lincoln County YMCA are sure to make you laugh, smile and maybe even shed a tear.  Playing at 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, and Saturday June 1 at 2 and 5:30 p.m. Tickets: $5 at the door.

“Woman at War” -  Halla is an independent woman. But behind the scenes of a quiet routine, she leads a double life as a passionate environmental activist. Known to others only by her alias "The Woman of the Mountain,” Halla secretly wages a one-woman-war on the local aluminum industry. As Halla’s actions grow bolder, from petty vandalism to outright industrial sabotage, she succeeds in pausing the negotiations between the Icelandic government and the corporation building a new aluminum smelter. (NR; 1 hour, 41 minutes)  In Icelandic with English subtitles, the film plays at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, Saturday, June 1; and at 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday, June 2, Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday June 6.

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” - In Part 2 of the epic finale, brought to you by The Lincoln Theater’s Stories to Screen Program, the battle between the good and evil forces of the Wizarding World escalate into an all-out war.
