Two Boothbay Region High School swimmers will be competing at the State Class B Swim Meet on Monday, Feb. 18 (boys) and Tuesday, Feb. 19 (girls) at the University of Maine in Orono. 

Nichole LaBrecque qualified in 200 freestyle, 50 freestyle, 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly. She will be swimming the 50 free and 100 fly at the meet. 

Ethan Walker qualified in the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke. He will swim both those events. 

Brad Tibbetts also qualified for the meet, but is unable to compete.  

Samantha Carter was the other Seahawk swimmer competing this season, and though she didn't qualify this year, she is only a freshman and had some personal best times.
