St. Dom’s moves on, defeats Boothbay 7-3 in ‘C’ quarterfinal

The St. Dominic Academy Saints will play in the Class C South tournament semifinal as they defeated the visiting Boothbay Region Seahawks 7-3 in field hockey in Auburn on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 23.
Details of the game are not yet known but sixth-seeded Boothbay finishes the season at 5-10 and third-seeded St. Dom’s improves to 10-5 and will face the winner of the Oak Hill and Lisbon quarterfinal contest in the next round.
