St. Andrews Auxiliary will be celebrating April’s National Volunteer Week with an All-Member May Party on May 19 at the American Legion Hall Post 36 in Boothbay. Speaker will be AnniPat McKenney, LincolnHealth program manager at the St. Andrews Coulombe Center for Health Improvement.

The Auxiliary is participating in a big “Welcome Back” celebration for the return of St. Andrews Urgent Care staff. Urgent Care will be reopening May 19 as these medical workers return from a six-month COVID-19 response assignment at Miles Campus in Damariscotta.

Several service projects will be completed at the May Party. One will be a Fabric & Quilt Display/Sale-all in support of our St. Andrews Auxiliary Thrift Shop. The Auxiliary helped to find over 30 volunteers to serve at the LincolnHealth Boothbay Region Y Vaccination Clinic. A kitchen crew will be preparing a luncheon for all the Y Clinic workers that day, as well attendees. Another project will be Memorial Day decorations for indoor and outdoor trees trees at St. Andrews Village long-term care facilities.
