The Arthur Hale Veasey Memorial Regatta, now in its 77th consecutive year, was held at Spring Cove at Squirrel Island on Aug. 17. The Veasey family holds the regatta every summer in honor of its founder, Arthur Hale Veasey, who began the tradition on the island during World War II.
