B-E-E-W-A-R-E, the Word Hawks are coming back, eager to defend their title as the region’s best adult spellers at this year’s third annual adult spelling bee hosted by the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library (BHML).
The Bee is set for Friday, March 14, so mark your calendars to participate or watch.
Find two friends with word smarts, the courage to face a live audience, and the will to win, and start studying your dictionary. Any three adults (in this case that's anyone 15 years old or older) can form a team and enter the competition; the registration fee of $150 goes to support BHML. Registration forms are available at the Library’s temporary home in the Small Mall. Come spell for a great cause.
