The Boothbay Region YMCA is hosting a Bingo Luncheon for Active Older Adults at the YMCA Coastal Club room on Friday, March 18 from noon to 1:30 p.m. The luncheon will also celebrate the Awesome Seniors’ Y-Walkers with their annual awards ceremony. Last year, several Awesome Seniors’ Y-Walkers received awards for being the most frequent walkers in the Tuesday/Thursday morning program. This month marks the two-year anniversary of the “Seniors Walk Free at the Y” program, which is jointly provided by the Boothbay Region Health & Wellness Foundation and the Boothbay Region YMCA.

A simple lunch of soup and sandwiches will be catered by Liz Evans of the East Boothbay General Store. Luncheon will be followed by a non-cash, but spirited, game of Bingo.

The cost for the event is $5 per person. Please register at the YMCA or by calling the Y at 633-2855 on or before March 17. All are welcome to participate.
