Southport selectmen send donation criteria to Kennebec nonprofit
Fri, 10/10/2025 - 11:36am
Southport selectmen receive several requests for municipal funding from Midcoast and central Maine nonprofits. During the Oct. 8 board meeting, selectmen received a request from Kennebec Behavioral Health which has seven clinics in the greater Waterville area treating people experiencing mental illness, emotional difficulties or behavioral changes.
Selectmen responded in their usual manner in sending the nonprofit an application and directing them to send it to the budget committee for consideration.
In other action, selectmen approved a town hall rental request for Kirsten Latter. She will host a first birthday party on Saturday, Dec. 13.
Selectmen meet next at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15 in the town hall.
