The Seahawks indoor track teams traveled to the University of Southern Maine Gorham campus for Boothbay’s final regular season meet against Greely, Mountain Valley, Poland Regional, Wells and York high schools and North Yarmouth and Traip academies.

Boys results: Cody Field placed 38th in the 55m dash in 8.65. Graham Harris, Ryan Russell and Field placed eighth, 13th and 20th in the 200m dash in 27.06, 28.37 and 32.84. Will Perkins, Nathan Chatterton and Fox Elder placed second, fifth and 15th in the 800m run in 2:11.54, 2:14.27 and 2:24.14. Ryan Clark placed seventh in the one-mile run in 5:51.78. Quinn Ranta placed fourth in the 55m hurdles in 9.3 and fifth in triple jump in 35’3.5”. The boys’ 4x200m relay team placed seventh in 1:58.31.

Girls results: Ava Schlosser placed 21st in the 800m run in 3:10.75. Grace Campbell placed sixth in the one-mile run in 6:13.77. Marissa Davison placed 14th in shot put with a put of 17’4”.

The Seahawks will send at least one athlete to the state championship at Bates College in Lewiston Feb. 15: Perkins qualified automatically for the one-mile and two-mile runs and provisionally for the 800m run; Chatterton, provisionally, one-mile and 800m runs; Ranta, provisionally, high jump, triple jump and 55m hurdles; and Campbell, provisionally, for the one-mile run. The 4x800m and 4x200m relay teams also qualified provisionally: Chatterton, Elder, Harris, Russell, Clark and Marlowe Recoing-Tallen; and Ranta, Jordan Pait, Harris, Russell, Elder and Field.
