The Seahawks faced Freeport, York, Gray-New Gloucester, Yarmouth and Mountain Valley high schools and Fryeburg Academy Jan. 17 at University of Southern Maine’s Gorham campus.

Jordan Pait and Cody Field placed 18th and 28th in the 55m dash in 7.87s and 8.68s. Quinn Ranta, Pait and Field placed eighth, 11th and 16th in the 200m dash in 27s, 27.72s and 32.99s. Fox Elder and Marlowe Recoing-Tallen placed fifth and 11th in the 800m run in 2:19.77 and 2:36.85. Nathan Chatterton and Ryan Clark placed second and eighth in the one-mile run in 4:55.06 and 5:41.23.

Ranta raced the 55m hurdles, high jump and long jump placing fifth in 9.7s, fourth at 5’6” and seventh at 16’6.5”. Caden Royal placed 12th for the boys and Marissa Davison 13th for the girls in shot put with puts of 22’10.5” and 16’7.75”. The boys 4x200m relay team placed fourth in 1:53.45.

The Seahawks return to Gorham Jan. 24 to face Poland, Yarmouth, Traip, Wells and York high schools and St. Dominic and Fryeburg academies.
