The Seahawks indoor track teams traveled to the University of Southern Maine in Gorham Jan. 10 to compete against York, Greely, Cape Elizabeth, Lake Region and Mountain Valley high schools and North Yarmouth and St. Dominic academies. The boys placed seventh outpacing the MVHS Falcons and the girls placed eighth.

Conner Dover placed 23rd and 25th in the junior varsity 55m and 200m dashes in 8.13 and 29.53. Quinn Ranta, Jordan Pait and Cody Field placed 16th, 24th and 41st in the senior boys 55m dash in 7.64, 7.83 and 8.86. Graham Harris placed fifth in the senior 200m dash in 26.28 with Ranta, Pait and Field close behind coming in 11th, 13th and 23rd in 27.42, 28.11 and 33.81. Harris followed up his performance coming in third in the 400m dash in 59.16.

Nathan Chatterton and Ryan Clark placed seventh and 16th in the one-mile run in 5:01.46 and 5:42.51. Ranta placed fourth in the high jump at 5’4”. The boys 4x200m relay team placed sixth in 1:49.19.

Grace Campbell placed fourth and Ava Schlosser 10th in the one-mile run in 6:04.92 and 6:54.73. Marisa Davison placed 11th in shot put with a put of 14’6”.
