Seahawks end season on high note

The Seahawks ended the season with a 30-0 shutout against Telstar Rebels ending the season with a 3-5 record on October 13 at Sherman Field. Although the Seahwaks won, they were unable to qualify for the playoffs.
“I think our team and our program took a big step this year in showing everyone and themselves that they can play with anybody," Head Coach Bryan Dionne said. "We were in every game this year, and we were able to sort of turn the program around and get things moving in the right direction again.”
The Seahwawks will lose six senior players, but Dionne said he will look to this year’s juniors to step up next season.
“Now it’s about having a good off-season, and hoping some other kids at school could also play football and will come and join us and make the big jump next year into getting into the playoffs.”
