Seahawks down Rebels

The Boothbay Region Seahawks improved to 15-2 with a 49-40 win over the Telstar Rebels in Bethel Saturday, Feb. 1.
Glory Blethen led Boothbay with 19 points, followed by Jaelyn Crocker with 12 and Chloe Arsenault with 10.
The now 3-14 Rebels played well against the Seahawks as they led 31-29 after three quarters. Boothbay pumped up its offense in the final quarter, outscoring Telstar 20-9.
The Rebels were led by Luci Rothwell with 17 points, followed by Calla Orino with 13.
Boothbay’s final regular season game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at home against Carrabec (9-7).
