The Boothbay Region High School girls tennis team won its second straight match, defeating Spruce Mountain at home, 4-1, on Wednesday, May 14. The win improved the Seahawks' record to 4-3, with three matches to play in the regular season, all on the road. The Phoenix fell to 1-4.
First singles: Laura Chapman (B) won, 6-0, 6-0, over Breanna Lee
Second singles: Hannah Kreft (B) won, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 6-1, over Riley Small
Third singles: Izzy Andreasen (B) won, 6-1, 6-1, over Alaina Kachnoviche
First doubles: Natalie Furka and Veronica Shink (SM) won 7-6 (7-4), 1-6, 6-3, over Maddie Andreasen and Ivory Cody
Second doubles: Spruce Mountain forfeit
