The Seahawk boys' and girls' varsity basketball teams will compete at the annual Capitol City Hoop Classic at the Augusta Civic Center on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 28 and 29.

Coach I. J. Pinkham's team will face Gardiner at 9 a.m., Friday to open the Christmas tournament. The Seahawks will also take on Lawrence at 6 p.m., Friday. The boys' championship game (teams to be determined) will be held at approximately 8:15 p.m. Other teams competing include Lincoln Academy, Hall-Dale and host Cony.

Coach Tanner Grover's squad will play its first game against Cony on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Boothbay's second game will be against Waynflete at 6 p.m. The girls' championship (teams to be determined) game will begin at approximately 8:15 p.m. Other teams competing include Richmond, Madison and host Cony.

Both tournaments will feature team 3-point shooting competitions and award presentations.
