SAT prep classes begin January 9
Maine Prep's SAT prep classes for Brunswick area high school students will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Thursday, Jan. 9 through March 6, to prepare students for the March 8, 2014 SAT test.
The eight session course, designed to teach students strategies to use in the math, writing and reading sections of the SAT, will meet at the Maine Prep North offices, 22 Parkers Way, Brunswick. The teacher is Maine Prep founder Jack Mahoney. Maine Prep was founded to help Maine students raise SAT scores, boost their admission chances and qualify for merit scholarships.
“Maine Prep’s unique approach to the SAT and ACT tests helped me to overcome my test-taking anxiety and to fulfill my potential,” said Maddie High of Brown University’s class of 2015. “The result was a 300-plus point increase in my SAT scores and my consequential admittance to Brown University, my first choice.”
