Open house January 5 at Positively Best Friends in Edgecomb
On Sunday, Jan. 5, Positively Best Friends Dog Training is hosting a holiday open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be demonstrations, mini-seminars, door prizes, free raffles and refreshments. Come for a brief visit or stay for the whole time!
Demonstrations of agility, obedience, canine nose work, and the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen evaluation will be happening throughout the day. Between the demonstrations, there will be 15 minute mini-seminars on how dogs learn, training philosophy and methods, selecting a dog trainer that works for you, and reducing the stress of grooming and handling.
Staff will be explaining the demonstrations as they happen and will answer questions during the demonstrations and mini-seminars. There is also a question and answer period scheduled at the end of the event. For a complete schedule, visit www.positivelybestfriends.com.
The first 30 visitors will get a free bag of dog treats and everyone will be able to enter the free raffles for dog toys, treats and gift certificates. There will also be sign-ups for discounted classes and clinics, including brand new Get Over It Foundation agility classes and the Canine Coffee Club. Yummy refreshments and snacks will be provided. Sadly, because of all the activities going on, Positively Best Friends requests you please leave your doggy friends at home for this event.
In addition to the open house, work on those New Year’s resolutions and get busy with your dog! Positively Best Friends is starting new Good Pup and Great Beginnings classes on January 23, 2014, and a new Mind Your Manners starting on February 3, 2014. For more information about the open house, classes or clinics, please contact Positively Best Friends at 207-882-7297 or marcia@positivelybestfriends.com.
