Dear Editor:

Congratulations to the Register for publishing an article (7/15) about Rachael Townsend, who recently acquired her Master Plumber's license. She has worked for me the past 12 years, and I have followed her progress in education, motherhood,  and as a plumber's helper with her dad, Jeff. I commend her for applying for, studying for , and achieving the goal to become one of the few women in her field. Boothbay Harbor will benefit from her skill, and her dad will benefit having her as a full partner. I am so proud of her.
