Have you seen our Lobster Lady out and about the Boothbay region selling tickets for your next chance to win 10 lobsters? If not, keep your eye out or stop in to The Community Center and purchase your tickets!  The drawing will be coming up this Thursday, Aug. 1 so you don’t have much time! Again, the winner will receive 10 lobsters fresh off the dock, generously donated by local lobstermen. One of the places you will find the Lobster Lady is on the Common during the Farmers Market. Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10 and are available at the Center or from our volunteers. 

Starting the month of August we will be hosting a Self-Awareness Book Club every Wednesday afternoon from 2-3 p.m. The Club will be reading such books as “Daring Greatly” by Brené Brown & “Living Originally” by Robert Brumet and meeting weekly for discussions. This group will be facilitated by Kerry Jackson and held here at The Community Center. Feel free to stop by or call 633-9876 to sign up.

We would love to remind you that we have our Awesome Seniors walking program going on at the Boothbay Harbor YMCA every Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10-noon. This program is free to all participants and gives everyone the chance to get their exercise in the air conditioned Field House.

If you will have summer visitors coming or will be a summer visitor of the Boothbay region and need some durable medical equipment, we have some.
