The winter weather has caused hardships for many folks, and we have heard story after story about people slipping and sliding. None carry the weight that Norm Blycher does with multiple injuries that will involve substantial recuperation time.

We extend our concern and prayers for his complete recovery and we know that he will appreciate your concern as well. Mary Ann is, of course, spending most of her time in the hospital with Norm and if you don’t feel comfortable contacting her, Peggy and John Chapman are well informed and in regular contact.

PC Louise Holmes reports that Howard and Dee Wright will host the March social event, but that she is still looking for a host for February. Please contact Louise by email if you are willing to host this party.

Contracts are going out for Junior instructors for both tennis and sailing. Jim, Sally and Larry are pouring over applications for the spots which are not as yet filled. Sally reports that the high school sailing team will start functioning in late March and she is making plans with Blake’s to get the floats in and ready for the arrival of the anticipated new 420 sailboats.

Speaking of 420’s, PC Tony O’Neil reports that there is still a window open to donate to the 420 fund within the foundation and an opportunity to secure naming rights with an appropriate sized gift.
