Nao Santa Maria has arrived in Boothbay Harbor a day early – and no one complained! The world famous vessel landed in the harbor, sails up, just before 2 p.m. and tied off at the Boothbay Harbor Public Landing. Once the ship was tied up securely, onlookers gave it and its crew a round of applause. Co-sponsors Mark Gimbel and Sweet Bay’s Ken Rayle were among the greeters along with Acting Town Manager Julia Latter, Selectman Mike Tomko and many others.
