Bath Savings will be hosting a presentation of the FDIC’s program, Money Smart for Older Adults, on Thursday, March 14. This event will be held at the Community Center at the Meadow Mall in Boothbay Harbor at 1 p.m. Please call 633-9876 or stop by to sign up.

The program is designed to educate the community about elder financial abuse and ways to reduce the risk of being exploited.

This presentation will explain elder financial abuse, who is at risk, and what can be done to reduce the risk and avoid exploitation.

The presentation will be given by Linda Anderson, vice president and manager of Bath Savings in Boothbay Harbor, and Sarah Winchenbach, assistant manager of Bath Savings in Damariscotta.
