Our meetings have resumed for the season. It was good to see the members again after the hectic summer months. From now until June, we meet every Monday at 7 p.m. at the Knights of Pythias Hall, Lakeside Drive, Boothbay Harbor.

We would like to thank Brian Dolloff and Jordan Construction for donating the rocks, time and machines for constructing our lawn barriers. It really looks great and will keep the cars off the lawn.

We will be holding a raffle for a cord of cut and split firewood again this year. Tickets will be available through most Lodge members soon. Tickets will be $1 each or six for $5. The winning ticket will be drawn at the Lodge’s November 25 meeting.

I would personally like to thank Linda Blackman for her help at the Boothbay Common this summer. Without her, Bruce and I would have been sunk.

We are just getting into the swing of things. We hope to have a great year with lots of support from Lodge Brothers. That’s what makes it fun and worthwhile.
