Meetings on recent changes in Maine laws
Wed, 06/27/2012 - 7:15am
Senator Christopher Johnson (D-Lincoln County) will host two community public forums on the changes to Maine law that were enacted during the recent legislative session. The first will be in Waldoboro from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 28 at the Fire House, and the second will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, July 2 at the Town Hall in Wiscasset.
“Many important changes were made to our laws in Maine this past session to such things as health care, drugs for the elderly, education, veteran’s services and host of others,” Senator Johnson said. “I’d really like to encourage people to come and ask questions. This is a good opportunity for people to learn about those changes and share ideas for moving Maine forward.”
