MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital offers free Diabetes Support Group
MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital invites individuals living with diabetes and their families to join a free Diabetes Support Group meeting on the fourth Thursday of every other month on the third floor.
This month’s meeting on Thursday, May 22 from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. will focus on community resources and the CarePartners program with guest speaker Jeff Slack, an access to care case manager.
The Diabetes Support Group is a welcoming space where participants can connect, share personal experiences and learn practical tips for managing diabetes in everyday life. MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital also offers expert diabetes education and medical nutrition services at its campuses in Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor. Services include one-on-one and group education programs led by registered nurse diabetes educators and registered dietitians, all designed to help individuals better manage their diabetes and improve their overall health.
