Maine’s First Ship is hosting its midsummer “New Year’s Eve” party on Saturday, June 23 at the Bath Freight Shed. Because the arrival of summer deserves a party.

Friends and invitees may remember that the event on December 31 was cancelled due to frigid temperatures. MFS is hoping that a “Solstice Soiree” on June 23 will bring more suitable conditions for merrymaking. Musical group the “Rites of Swing” will be back, and, in addition to the originally planned light hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, and bonfire, Winter Point Oysters will join us with a cash oyster bar. Admission is $20 in advance; $25 at the door.

Gather your friends to enjoy the music and the ambiance of a summer evening in the Freight Shed: relax, nibble, dance, and support the Virginia Project.
