Everyone can help out in one of the following ways, according to Hastings and Packard:

1. Download the app “World Clean Up Day” to add trash points.

2. We need help at Barrett's Park to break up and pull out a broken boat and a broken float on the beach and then a pick up truck to take them to the dump. We will work on that area from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

3. Pick up trash on your own wherever there is trash.

4. Take pictures of yourself picking up the trash and put them online with either hashtag #nationalcleanupday #WorldCleanUpDay

5. Spread the word!
