It’s state championship Saturday and the Boothbay Region Lady Seahawks and the Narraguagus Lady Knights of Harrington will battle for the gold ball in Class C. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. We will be bringing you score updates every quarter, and any other interesting tidbits from the Augusta Civic Center. 

Remember, there will be a reception for the Lady Seahawks on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at the high school. Come congratulate the girls and coaches Grover, Blethen and Brewer on such a fine season.

FIRST QUARTER: Boothbay trails 7-9 at end of first quater,

SECOND QUARTER: Boothbay and Narraguagas are tied, 10-10, at the Class C State Championship in Augusta. Faith Blethen has four points and Hannah Morley has three to lead the Seahawks.

THIRD QUARTER:Boothbay leads 22-21 at end of third quarter.

FOURTH QUARTER: Narraguagas overcame a one point fourth quarter deficit to defeat Boothbay, 33-25, in the State Class C championship game.
