During the month of August, Lincoln County Recovery Community Center will be collecting hygiene supplies throughout Lincoln County. All donated items will be distributed to those who may not have reliable access to these essential supplies. LCRCC appreciates the support in helping to improve the health, dignity and well-being of our neighbors.

Suggested items include: toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, non-alcoholic mouthwash, shampoo and conditioner, soap, body wash and body wipes, deodorant and antiperspirant wipes, pads, tampons, diapers, reproductive health products, razors and shaving cream, first-aid supplies, Q-tips, cotton swabs, Chapstick, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, sunscreen, bug spray, aloe, tweezers, nail clippers, hair brushes and any and all other unopened hygiene products.

Drop off locations: Lincoln County Recovery Community Center, Healthy Lincoln County, local libraries, churches and town offices. For a full list of donation box locations, contact Maddie at 207-844-0827 or Tori at 207-390-0222.

Donations may also be brought to the LCRCC Go the Extra Mile 5k on Aug. 22 at 3 Hall St., Newcastle.

The End of the Drive Cookout will be held Sept. 5 at 3 Hall St., Newcastle.
