The Boothbay Region Lady Seahawks easily defeated the Sacopee Valley Lady Hawks, 55-35, in their quarterfinal tournament match-up at the Augusta Civic Center on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Boothbay was dominant on the boards and efficient in its offense as the team built a 34-10 halftime lead. Coach Brian Blethen played various combinations in the second half with everyone seeing some playing time. The Lady Seahawks move on to play Traip Academy on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. at the ACC.

Junior Glory Blethen and sophomore Jaelyn Crocker each scored 15 points and junior Haley Abbott added 10 as the Lady Seahawks improved to 17-2 on the season.
