Spring is here and Kimberly Anne Johnson is celebrating with a few chosen pieces of art for sale at the First National Bank, 77 Oak Street in Boothbay Harbor. Paintings will be on display in the lobby throughout April and May during normal banking hours. The exhibit is sponsored by the Boothbay Region Art Foundation.

Ms. Johnson is recognized for conveying the moods and evocative power of the sea. Her show will include seascapes painted in oil that reflect the natural beauty of coastal Maine.

She is a full-time artist while also directing a nonprofit, providing nursing scholarships in Liberia, West Africa.
