June 14 update: 2,793 statewide COVID-19 cases

AUGUSTA — The Maine CDC has updated its list, June 14, of COVID-19 cases in the state of Maine.

Today, there are 2,793 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases across the state, including 2,486 confirmed cases and 307 probable cases. 

Across the state, 2,173 people have recovered from COVID-19, while 100 people have died. The number of people hospitalized, at some point during their illness, across the state stands at 314.

Looking at hospital COVID-19 data, there are currently 29 hospitalized, including 10 in critical care and five on a ventilator. There are 176 available critical care beds out of 402 total and 260 available ventilators of 318 total and 441 alternative ventilators. 

By sex, 1,426 females have tested positive in the state and 1,367 males have tested positive.

The below cases represents the number of full-time Maine residents who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Maine CDC. 

Each day, the Maine CDC updates its COVID-19 data on its website with the latest coronavirus numbers from across the state. Today’s update came at 12:15 p.m.
