June 11 update: New COVID-19 case and recovery in Waldo County

AUGUSTA — The Maine CDC has updated its list, June 11, of COVID-19 cases in the state of Maine.

Today, there are 2,667 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases across the state, including 2,380 confirmed cases and 287 probable cases. 

Across the state, 2,062 people have recovered from COVID-19, while 100 people have died. The number of people hospitalized, at some point during their illness, across the state stands at 308.

Looking at hospital COVID-19 data, there are currently 29 hospitalized, including 12 in critical care and five on a ventilator. There are 153 available critical care beds out of 397 total and 258 available ventilators of 318 total and 441 alternative ventilators. 

By sex, 1,362 females have tested positive in the state and 1,305 males have tested positive.

The below cases represents the number of full-time Maine residents who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Maine CDC. 

Each day, the Maine CDC updates its COVID-19 data on its website with the latest coronavirus numbers from across the state. Today’s update came at 12:15 p.m.
