June 10 update: Waldo County records new COVID-19 case

AUGUSTA — The Maine CDC has updated its list, June 10, of COVID-19 cases in the state of Maine.

Today, there are 2,637 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases across the state, including 2,350 confirmed cases and 287 probable cases. 

Across the state, 2,023 people have recovered from COVID-19, while 100 people have died. The number of people hospitalized, at some point during their illness, across the state stands at 303.

Looking at hospital COVID-19 data, there are currently 27 hospitalized, including 10 in critical care and five on a ventilator. There are 148 available critical care beds out of 394 total and 257 available ventilators of 318 total and 441 alternative ventilators. 

By sex, 1,348 females have tested positive in the state and 1,289 males have tested positive.
