Video: 'Round Town
It's twins!

To the casual onlooker, life seems unchanged at the mourning dove nest on the porch at the Friends of the Library Used Bookstore. One dove can still be seen sitting quietly on the nest. Twice daily the parents change place: the sitter flies off for hours of freedom and the other resigns itself to the confines of the nest.
But the brooding birds are no longer sitting on eggs; they’re nestling babies. The babies hatched this week and their adoring fans at the bookstore and library are thrilled.
So far the parents continue to be tolerant of all the human attention and paparazzi.
The library’s naming contest continues through June 20.
