The Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club-sponsored high school club sailing program will operate again this fall under the coaching of Sally Lloyd who returns for her third season. Twelve young men and women have signed up for this program which starts on September 4 and continues through mid-October.

Young sailors in two-person teams sail the yacht club's 420 class racing boats, practicing Monday through Thursday afternoons and racing in statewide regattas on the weekends. All regattas are held at SailMaine in Portland, except Rockland.

Sun., Sept. 9: Hosted by Portland High School, Varsity

Sat., Sept. 15: Blue & Yellow Regatta hosted by Falmouth, JV

Sun., Sept. 23: Start Your Engines Regatta, hosted by Cape Elizabeth, JV

Sat., Sept. 29: Show Up & Sail, hosted by Rockland, Varsity

Sun., Sept. 30: Blue Wave Regatta, hosted by Portland, JV

Sat., Oct. 13: Yachtsmen Regatta, hosted by Falmouth, JV

Sun., Oct. 14: Southern ME Sail Fest, hosted by Southern Maine, Varsity
