Rob Vail and Katie Hawkins were married on Aug. 11 at the Inn by the Sea in Cape Elizabeth.

Rob is the son of Bob and Ingrid Vail of Ocean Point and Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Katie is the daughter of Alan and Margaret Hawkins of South Portland.

Randy Vail of Scottsdale, Arizona was the best man and Emily Hawkins of Portsmouth, New Hampshire was the maid of honor.

Rob is a registered investment advisor at Charter Oak Capital Management, a wealth management firm with offices in Portland, Kennebunk and Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Rob is also an adjunct professor at the University of New England in Biddeford. Katie is an associate in the Portland office of Hudson Cook, a national law firm.
