Halloween theme at Story Time

Is there always room for one more? According to the picture book, “Room on the Broom” by Julia Donaldson, the witch and her five polite friends were too much of a load for her sturdy broom.
The delightful story was enjoyed by the children at last week’s Story Time at the Wiscasset Public Library. Donaldson is also the author of the popular “Gruffalo” story.
After the story, the children made their own broom with a stick and raffia and placed it creatively on an autumn night scene.
Story Time is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Children’s Room. All are welcome.
