Girl Scouts of Maine selects Krystle Hodgdon as December Volunteer of the Month
Girl Scouts of Maine (GSME) recently announced Krystle Hodgdon of Edgecomb as their December Volunteer of the Month.
Hodgdon is a volunteer and troop leader for the Midcoast Service Unit in the Boothbay Region. The volunteer of the month is a prestigious title recognized by GSME. It is awarded monthly to an adult volunteer who has demonstrated exceptional dedication and efforts within the organization to benefit Girl Scouts statewide.
Over the last eight years, Hodgdon has served Girl Scouts in her area by helping them develop into strong, confident, and capable leaders of their generation. Hodgdon currently leads a troop of Cadettes and Seniors through insightful programs and skill-based activities.
Recognized for her willingness to raise a hand without hesitation when volunteers are needed to take on new responsibilities for a variety of events and activities—Hodgdon is seldom not the first to step up and assist. Most well known for her efforts in planning and organizing her service unit’s annual Cookie Rally, Girl Scouts and adults alike look forward to what Hodgdon has planned for the cookie program kick-off event all year long.
All staff, members, and volunteers at GSME appreciate the ideas and input that Hodgdon has in store for helping her service unit flourish. The Midcoast team is excited to witness Hodgdon’s service unit goals come to fruition this year and congratulates her on this massive achievement.
