Get streaks of purple hair for March of Dimes

Mia's Shear Perfection in Damariscotta will be offering purple hair streaks from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 3 to benefit the March of Dimes.
Each hair streak will be $10, with all proceeds going to Team Garron, a local team that participates in the Portland March for Babies. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
The March for Babies is a series of statewide walks to raise money to support the Maine chapter of the March of Dimes.
The March of Dimes does research, education and advocacy for the prevention of premature births and birth defects, and offers support for families who have babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and resources for grieving families.
Team Garron walks in memory of infant Garron Martin, who died in 2009 due to prematurity. Garron's mother Aubrey is the team captain.
