Free College Transitions program for adults begins in January
The Lincoln County College Connection (TLC3), a collaboration of four Midcoast adult education programs, begins a new Maine College Transitions semester in January.
Experienced academic instructors and career advisers work with students individually and in groups to help students locate, prepare for, and enroll in a college program of choice. Upon completion of the college transitions program (which can vary from four months to a year in length), students have applied to one or more schools, filed a FAFSA (financial aid application), visited one or more college campuses and work sites, and passed their college entrance examinations.
Free classes, workshops, and one-on-one decision-making sessions are scheduled during the daytime and evening in four locations: Wiscasset, Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, and Waldoboro.
