Firewood for sale
Lodge opened at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20 with 15 members present.
The Lodge has sold one cord of firewood and has a second cord for sale. Dried, cut and split hardwood, the cord is being sold for $300 delivered. The first person to call and deliver the cash can purchase it. Call Brian Barter at 207-380-9332.
We are looking at getting cable TV reinstalled in the hall. It would be nice to watch the games and races at our Sunday cribbage tournaments. The tournaments start at noon and the public is welcome to participate.
We would like to thank everyone who helped with the firewood. The proceeds will go a long way towards heating our hall during this cold winter.
It was nice seeing Reid Hodgdon back and happy as always.
We would like to thank Brian Barter and Bill Rogers for plowing our parking lot, and Steve Pitcher donating a 1940s program of the shows that used to be held at the Opera House. It's a nice piece of history.
We adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
